We’ve discovered a huge difference between great guitar playing and great guitar teaching.  Most guitar instruction products are created by excellent players, and yet most fall painfully short of our expectations for effective teaching. Admittedly our expectations are high, and we believe yours should be as well.

We set out to develop guitar instruction with superior quality and to create an exciting, uniquely fun learning experience. So, we dove into this business and assembled the best musicians and educators possible. This highly credentialed team understood the vision and developed the TalkingTabs and Play It Now Tunes education programs, which achieve our goals of quality, accuracy and fun!

Credentials – Many of our musicians and instructors are graduates from the Berklee College of Music, one of the finest music institutions in the world. The other musical talents who help develop our Play-It-Now Tunes have nearly 100 years of combined professional playing and teaching experience. Together, they comprise a team that excels in providing the easiest and most exciting way to learn guitar playing method with TalkingTabs and the greatest songs with Play It Now Tunes.

Quality – Because ear training is critical to mastering music, guitar instruction products should have high-quality sound to be an effective learning tool.  Our engineers record, mix and master each lesson knowing you are placing your trust in every word, note and chord we provide.  Also having experienced teachers that understand how to communicate techniques in simple terms is important to successful learning. That is why our instructors have the finest backgrounds and experience in teaching students in a variety of styles, settings and skill levels.

Accuracy – We want you to learn to play properly, and to do that, we have to be certain everything we tell you is correct. Every song is filled with its own patterns, chords, strums and notes, and it takes a lot of effort to be sure our lessons are accurate. Because we take accuracy seriously, our team puts every lesson through an extensive six step verification process before it is made available to the public.
