Our Level System

All songs are different with regard to the skills necessary to accomplish them, so our expert instructors have developed a level system to be used as a general guide. Choose songs that fit your skill level and after you master them, move ahead and begin learning your favorite songs in the next level.

Level 1

Lessons for songs in the Level 1 category utilize easy strumming rhythms and simple chord progressions. These lessons may also include simple single note passages along with simple techniques. This level is for the player with little or no experience.

Level 2

Lessons for songs in the Level 2 category utilize more difficult chord progressions, more difficult techniques, and single note patterns that require more skill. More time on the guitar is needed to learn to play these songs.

Level 3

Lessons for songs in the Level 3 category are the most challenging songs to lean to play. They incorporate faster chord progressions, more complex single note riffs and more difficult strumming rhythms and picking patterns. We are currently working on lessons for solos intended for Play-It-Now Tunes in the Level 3 category.

Just remember, no matter which Play-It-Now Tune you choose, the instruction is so easy to follow that given enough time and practice, you can learn to play any song.
